The Italian police have arrested this young man, identified as Amedeo Mancini, suspected of killing the Nigerian asylum seeker, Emmanuel Chidi Namdi. The deceased was attacked in the town of Fermo after coming to his wife’s defence.
The wife, Chinyere, told police authorities that her husband was beaten unconscious by the man who she said was wielding a road-sign pole. Mancini is now under investigation.
