Lady Gaga splits from fiance, Taylor Kinney after 5 years

Gaga and Kinney have been absent from each other's lives lately at events and on social media.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have broken up after five years together, TMZ reports.

TMZ claims the former couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2015, parted ways earlier this month.

According to them, Lady Gaga was spotted in Malibu without her engagement ring on.

They claim Gaga and Kinney have been absent from each other's lives lately at events and on social media.

Recall that the 'Born This Way' singer and the actor first met on the set of her 'Yoü and I' music video in 2011, in which he played her naked, bathtub-dwelling love interest. They pair started dating several months later, split for a brief period in May 2012 before getting back together the following month.

They got engaged in February 2015, with Gaga sharing a close-up photo of her stunning heart-shape diamond ring. “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!” she captioned the shot.

Things were probably already going downhill in their relationship after she forgot to thank him while accepting her first Golden Globe for her amazing performance on "American Horror Story: Hotel" on January 10 in Beverly Hills.

In an emotional moment, the pop star cried hysterically as she bagged the 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For Television' award. Her speech was wonderful and honest but she left out her fiancé's name and now we know why!
