The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have continued the search for a foreign coach for the Super Eagles after Frenchman, Paul Le Guen rejects the chance when he was appointed.

Although Salisu Yusuf
has been confirmed to be the new Chief Coach of the Super Eagles,
sources close to the Glass House revealed that the NFF are still
searching for a foreign Technical Adviser.
Many
have wondered why the Super Eagles need a Technical Adviser with Yusuf
already announced as Chief Coach but former Nigeria coaches Clemens Westerhof and Jo Bonfrere both had the official title.
The
NFF executive committee at a meeting on Wednesday, July 20 appointed
Yusuf and also technical and development sub-committee was asked to
recommend a candidate for the post of 'technical adviser' within the
next seven days.
Speaking on the disagreement between the NFF and Le Guen, the secretary-general, Mohammed Sanusi told BBC Sport that the French coach “rejected our terms.”
The NFF said it had not been able to reach agreement on targets for the job, or over where Le Guen would be based.

The coach has however denied reaching any agreement with the NFF before they made the announcement.
Respected French journalist, Herve Penot first broke the news on Twitter, writing; ”Paul le Guen will not go to Nigeria. Conditions not met to be coach. Nothing to do with the selection today.”
Le Guen told the French journalist that he had a chat with president of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick and told him he wasn't interested in the job.

Pinnick was said to have spoken to friends of the coach in a bid to convince him and went ahead with announcement.
Le Guen, 52, said he was shocked when he was named as the Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The coach said he had no idea that he was being considered because it was never agreed.
