Transfer News LIVE: Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea latest plus all done deals

Manchester United are set to smash the world transfer record with a £100million move for Paul Pogba, after agreeing a deal with Juventus.
Liverpool have strengthened their defence with £4million defender Ragnar Klavan and are increasingly confident over Georginio Wijnaldum, having agreed a £25million fee.
Manchester City have launched a move for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.

Wijnaldum fee agreed

More on Georginio Wijnaldum now.
A £25million deal, plus add-ons has been agreed between Liverpool and Newcastle.
The only intricacies now are how will payments be scheduled.
Newcastle want the full £25million up front. However, Liverpool are still looking to pay in instalments.
However, that is seemingly the only stumbling block at present. Wijnaldum’s personal terms are expected to be straightforward and he’s all set to join the Reds on their US tour, just as soon as the deal is complete.

Wanderers purchase set to be announced

Wolves are set to land in the laps of Chinese ownership - but it won’t be Robin Li.
Mirror Sport revealed at the weekend that he was NOT the man who would be taking over at Molineux.
Instead, Fosun International are set to land the Midlands club in a £45million deal.
The BBC announce that the deal has been completed and will be announced later today.
Jorge Mendes is still at the heart of things, having previously sold a minority share in his Gestifute agency to a subsidiary of Fosun earlier this year.
It’s believed Julen Lopetegui is the new owners choice as manager, with Kenny Jackett set to step aside.
More as and when it comes.

Liverpool defender ponders move

Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan is considering a loan move to Burnley.
The full-back was left out of the pre-season squad to face Huddersfield on Wednesday night and has been given the chance to join the Premier League new boys for a year.
The Liverpool Echo report that manager Jurgen Klopp believes the 23-year-old would benefit from a year of playing first-team football away from Anfield.
Flanagan returned to action in January after a nightmare 18-month battle with a knee injury.

Chelsea eye Benfica defender

Chelsea have targeted £25million Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
The Blues are sizing up the 22-year-old Swede with the bidding for both Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci and Napoli counterpart Kalidou Koulibaly escalating.
Manchester City are rivalling Chelsea’s interest in Bonucci and are willing to pay around £50million to sign the Italy star - despite the fact that he turned 29 two months ago.
Everton and Bayern Munich are challenging Chelsea for 25-year-old Koulibaly whose club believe they can rake in around £45million for him.

Man United CLINCH Paul Pogba deal

Manchester United have now SEALED a world-record £100million deal to sign Paul Pogba .
They have agreed to pay Juventus the massive fee for their France superstar and will hand Pogba a five-year contract worth £210,000-a-week, net.
The Old Trafford giants ‘ executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward agreed the deal with Juve directors Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, as well as the player’s agent Mino Raiola.
As we revealed earlier this month , the price was set by Italian champions Juventus several weeks ago and the prospect of smashing the world record had not deterred United from their bid to take the player.

Stoke bid for Joe Allen

Stoke have made a £14m bid for Euro star Joe Allen.
And that has set a benchmark for the Wales midfielder who was voted in the team of the tournament at the recent European Championships.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to hang onto the 26-year-old who ability on the ball and in winning possession is perfect for his pressing style.
Yet Klopp has admitted that he simply can’t offer the promises about first-team football required to keep Allen at Anfield, with the midfielder entering the final year of his contract.

City eye Kroos swoop

Manchester City have launched an audacious £50million bid to sign Toni Kroos from Real Madrid.
City’s new boss Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Kroos and would like to be reunited with his former Bayern Munich playmaker at the Etihad.
The Blues have made an approach and have received encouragement that a deal may be possible.
European champions Real need to offload one of their Galacticos to compete with Manchester United in the £100m bidding war for Paul Pogba.

Watford challenge Chelsea, Spurs and more for Lille's Sofiane Boufal

Watford are trying to steal a march on their rivals for Lille hot prospect Sofiane Boufal.
Representatives of the £18m-rated Moroccan attacking midfielder have held talks with the Hornets, which are understood to have taken place at their pre-season base in Austria.
Boufal, 22, is on a host of clubs’ radars including Chelsea , Tottenham, Juventus and Lyon but Watford are hoping to force their way to the front of the queue.

Liverpool signing Ragnar Klavan is "complete defender"

Good news for Reds fans - Ragnar Klavan’s arrival on a three-year deal from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg is a very good thing, according to the Estonian’s national team boss.
Jurgen Klopp has just two fit senior centre-halves - Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip - so the 30-year-old’s arrival is timely.
Estonia boss Magnus Pehrsson told ESPN he thinks Klavan is “a complete defender”.
“I think he has most of what you ask from a central defender - he is calm with the ball, he can build up well, he’s fast, he’s good in the air, he can tackle.”

Swansea make move for Chadli

Swansea City are plotting a move for Tottenham’s Belgian winger Nacer Chadli.
Spurs are understood to value Chadli, 26, at around £15m, a fee would represent a club record for Swansea and is more than double the £7m Spurs paid FC Twente to sign Chadli three years ago.
Chadli, who was one of the seven players Spurs bought with the £86m Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in July 2013, has fallen down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino.

West Brom ponder Stoke's Berahino bid

West Brom are reportedly continuing to mull over Stoke’s £20million bid for striker Saido Berahino.
Potters boss Mark Hughes told Sky Sports that he had seen a number of bids for the former England Under-21 man rejected, but are still waiting to hear back on their last offer, which was £17million up front with a further £3million in add-ons.
The Baggies are apparently wanting to secure a replacement before letting him go and Sky say this could be West Ham striker Diafra Sakho, who wants to leave the Hammers.

De Laurentiis: Higuain betraying himself if he joins Juventus

Gonzalo Higuain is the centre of some serious transfer speculation regarding his future.
He has previously been linked to Arsenal but it now looks like he is on the verge of leaving Napoli for Juventus.
But Napoli li President Aurelio De Laurentiis has claimed that if the Argentine does leave for another Serie A club then he is a traitor.
“I haven’t spoken with the player,” De Laurentiis said to the assembled media at Dimaro.
“The only proposal I received was from the president of Atletico Madrid a month ago and I told him it wasn’t possible.

“They offered €60 million plus two or three players. If he did leave, I don’t know if it would be betraying Napoli. Mostly, he would be betraying himself. You can’t go under the curva here and then leave just like that.

“That would be a big contradiction but I’m calm about it all. Napoli finished second without him. We started in Serie C and I’m proud of our climb and I’m sure we’ll continue to do well.”

Bit of background on Negredo

Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Alvaro Negredo on a season-long loan from Valencia.
The 30-year-old former Manchester City striker links up with fellow Spaniard Aitor Karanka, the Boro boss, at the Riverside.

Negredo, a European champion with Spain in 2012, has scored 208 goals in 485 club appearances during his career.
Twenty-three of those goals were scored in 48 appearances for Manchester City during the 2012-13 season.
He’s spent the last two seasons back at Valencia, where he’s struggled to rediscover his best form.
However, Negredo remains a high-profile player and his recruitment by Boro is testament to the pulling power of the Premier League.

The player has travelled to Marbella to link up with his new teammates in pre-season training.

DONE DEAL: Negredo joins Boro

Well, well, well.

Middlesbrough have made their 457th signing of the summer and it’s former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo.
(OK, he’s only their 7th signing but still, busy work!)
The Spaniard arrives on loan from Valencia for the season and will no doubt go straight into everyone’s Fantasy Football sides.
Also, now he’s signed maybe he can get on with filling that house Boro have clearly bought for him there in that photo with some paintings or something.

Another Blues youngster out on loan
Chelsea have revealed that youngster Alex Kiwomya has left the club to join Crewe on loan today.
The 20-year-old joins until January 9.
He is yet to play a senior game for Chelsea

 Bogdan joins Latics on loan
Liverpool have allowed another goalkeeper to go out on loan.
Adam Bogdan, the Hungarian, has joined Wigan Athletic.
He’s the second Reds stopper to join a Championship club, following Danny Ward, who has joined Huddersfield.

Gladbach's Christensen bid rejected
An interesting one coming from Germany now.
Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen remains on loan from the Blues to Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach for a second season.
But the German side are very keen on turning that deal permanent.

Already they’ve been told they can’t but it appears that they won’t be taking no for an answer.
And flush with £34million of Granit Xhaka money, and having qualified for the Champions League again, they’re eyeing a big money move.
A £14million offer has been rejected by the Blues in the last few days.
Will they be back with another?

No move for Lewandowski

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has rubbished suggestions that Robert Lewandowski could leave the German giants this summer.

Poland hitman Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, after two years at the Allianz Arena, while former boss Pep Guardiola - now at Man City - is also an admirer.

Ahead of Euro 2016, Lewandowski declared his interest in “trying something new” suggesting his people had held talks with Real and PSG.
But Ancelotti has no intention of parting with his leading striker.
“Lewandowski will stay here because he’s one of the best attackers in the world. It’s as simple as that.
“They have a lot of fantastic players, for instance Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Real don’t need Lewandowski on top and, even if they did, Bayern won’t sell Lewandowski. Why should we voluntarily give away one of the best attackers in the world?”

DONE DEAL!

Liverpool have confirmed the arrival of Ragnar Klavan, the Estonian international.
The veteran defender arrives from Augsburg in a £4million deal.
“I’m really honoured to be part of this amazing club, this amazing team.
“It’s hard to put it into words, because it’s been a dream of mine for 22 years to come to the Premier League and be a part of this amazing club, Liverpool.

“The Premier League is the most attractive league in the world and you always have amazing players here. This is the home of football.”

Blues warn off Diego Costa suitors

Antonio Conte has warned potential suitors that Diego Costa is not for sale.

The Brazilian born forward has been repeatedly linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid where he spent six years over two spells before moving to west London.
Atleti have been privately insistent in their efforts to bring him back to the Calderón, with captain Gabi among those to text their former teammate encouragement to return.
“Diego Costa is our player, he’s a fantastic player with fundamental importance.
“He’s very happy and is working hard.”

Manchester City close to landing Leonardo Bonucci in £50million deal

Manchester City are close to landing Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus in a £50million deal.

City have seen off Antonio Conte’s bid to be reunited with Bonucci at Chelsea and Juve are prepared to let the Italy centre-half leave.

City have stepped up talks over the last 24 hours and the Italian champions are demanding £50million (60million euros), which would equal the transfer world record fee for a defender.

Blues boss Pep Guardiola is not put off by Juve’s asking price and feels Bonucci could become the cornerstone of his defence because of injury concerns over Vincent Kompany.

Reports in Italy claim Bonucci, who is currently on holiday, is keen to come to the Etihad and that City are offering him a contract worth nearly £140,000-a-week.

Ranieri insists Riyad Mahrez will STAY

Claudio Ranieri gave Leicester a boost after the Foxes pre-season friendly against Oxford by insisting Riyad Mahrez will remain at Leicester.
Mahrez has been touted as a potential signing for Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester City but his manager declared he will stay put after the reigning PFA Player of the Year played a half in the Foxes’ 2-1 friendly win at the League One side.
The Foxes suffered a blow by selling N’Golo Kante to Chelsea, but Ranieri looked to allay any concerns fans may have.
“Everybody here is happy and, yes, he [Mahrez] wants to stay.
No other players will go away – we will stay together.
Riyad will stay with us for all of the years.”
