The Nigerian Dream Team VI have broken the 'seeming jinx' after the
team defeated Honduras to clinch the Bronze medal at the ongoing Rio
2016 Olympics.
After losing their bid to nab Gold at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympics, the Nigeria's Dream Team VI has defeated Honduras to settle for a Bronze medal.
The Nigerian side put up a brilliant
display on the pitch on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Brazil as it
defeated Honduras in a 3-2 victory.
On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, the Nigerian side were trashed by Germany after Lukas Klostermann tapped home the first goal in the 9th minute from close range, after Max Meyer beat Nigeria's defence.
The quality of game
played by the Nigerian side wowed many fans, who said the German defeat
was responsible for the decision to thrash Honduras.
The Bronze is coming following Nigeria's loss at the last two Olympics, where the team qualified but got no medal.
