Passenger complains about man wearing dress and stockings on train - gets brutally shut down

The train company responded to his complaint, but so did a few other people...

Sometimes you see things on trains which leave you confused and a little unsettled (and it usually involves drunk people getting up to no good.)
But one man has sparked outrage online after he complained about a fellow male passenger - just because he was wearing a dress and stockings.

He decided to voice his disdain to train company Transpennine Express via Twitter, saying: "Evening @ TPExpressTrains - 'Guy' on the seat opposite me is wearing stockings and a dress - what is that all about ??"

Rather than ignore his complaint, a staff member on the company's social media team decided to respond - and it's gone down very well.


Their response has been widely praised by social media users, with one person saying:" I love this!!!!! Fantastic response!! Sad people are still living in the stone age days." (sic)
It was also shared and 'liked' hundreds of times, but was slightly upstaged by replies from other people...
