Swiss Train Attack: Attacker identified as a 27-Yrs-old man


The attacker, it was further reported, stabbed seven people who were injured severely partly on the train.

Police in St. Gallen, Switzerland, have identified the suspect of train stabbing attack as a 27-year-old man who was carrying a flammable liquid.

According to Tages Anzeiger, the Swiss was armed with at least, one knife and he poured a flammable liquid which caught fire just before arrival at the Salez Station.

The attacker, it was further reported, stabbed seven people who were injured severely partly on the train.

"Among the injured is at least one child," said Bruno Metzger, spokesman for the St. Gallen cantonal police, the "St. Galler Tagblatt ".

Furthermore, the Canton Police have revealed that among the injured in the train attack were the 27 years old attacker himself, a 17- and a 50- year-old man and three women aged 17, 34 and 43 years and a 6-year-old child.

Thus, a massive contingent of police St.Gallen Canton firefighters with three rescue helicopters, two emergency physicians, three ambulances and experts from the railway companies have arrived the scene.
